Marwen
Founded in 1987, Marwen is a youth arts education space with a deep history in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.
In this role I created content for all of our social media, I designed print materials to promote courses and events, and I managed our social strategy reporting.
Now That’s What I Call Art Fair
Art Fair is one of Marwen’s two major annual fundraisers. The theme for the 2024 event was “90s Grunge.” As such, I conceptualized, wrote, collected assets, edited, and provided the VoiceOver (edited to better match the real thing) for this piece. I also managed its paid promotion via our social channels on META.
Art Fair Math
Marwen’s 2023 Art Fair Event did not have a set theme, but rather simply a colorful aesthetic. A big trend on social media during the time leading up to the event was “_____ Math,” originating with the “Girl Math” videos. This is my take on that trend in the context of promoting a fundraising event. Once again, everything from concept to VoiceOver to editing has been been done solely by me.
